It's the biggest organization
in government, I think, other than the VA.
And it's just immature, some of the things he's doing.
But it now comes down to this, where he had to have been involved in this.
I'll leave that to the determination of anybody that wants to investigate or question them.
But even if he didn't give the order, he knew about it.
And as I said on X yesterday, you know, if you're the senior to someone who's doing something illegal and this was purely an illegal act, there's no doubt about that.
And you don't do anything about it.
You're just as culpable as the person that did it.
So those are all the things that come together in this particular situation.
Well, I'll comment and then Tom can too, but I was on MSNBC or MSNOW yesterday and it was the first time I actually saw the press secretary's press conference where she said what she said and my jaw dropped.
And my initial thought, and unfortunately I said it on air, was they're throwing them under the bus.
And what I found out later is that there's a lot of other people inside the Pentagon
that are wearing the uniform that are saying the same thing and yes absolutely he threw him on she threw him under the bus or the administration appears to be trying to throw him under the bus now that truthfully that may be deserved he may have committed this act again that's what an investigation and questioning by congress will will indicate or not but you don't when when there's an open case like this you don't immediately start either
saying how people did things or what they did or
as Secretary Hegseth did later on that night, say, hey, I'm 100% behind the guy.
Because in both of those cases, it's what the military calls in military law, undue command influence.
This guy falls within the Secretary or in the Defense Department.
So anything the Secretary says now that it appears that there could be an open investigation is going to potentially taint the people who are looking at the legal ramifications of all this.
Well, if I could say something down on that, because I agree with everything Tom just said, because that's leadership.
