Look, there's certainly situations throughout the world in jobs in general where people are exploited.
And I'm not gonna tell you that there aren't cases where people have been exploited in sex work, 'cause that'd be a lie.
But there's several professions where people are exploited every day.
Um now, in this case, I don't think uh
I can assure you that I'm not exploited.
Um and that I am in my job by choice and that I enjoy my job and um uh plenty of plenty of workers in Australia will be telling you roughly the same thing and we're probably shaking their fists at the speakers uh during your first call.
Um, there's a huge stigma around being uh involved in the industry and to some extent that will extend to being a client of the industry and it's that stigma that says that we're just down
untrodden w uh victims who can't stand up for ourselves and and have no sense of self agency.
That stigma then uh makes people look at the clients that will visit us as all exploiters of of um of people and um try we try and steer away from saying just women because you know, um there's you know, sex workers along the gender spectrum and um our clients.
are also along the gender spectrum, so um we don't want to sort of limit ourselves there.
But
Yeah, definitely no.
Um, and sex work is the preferred term.
I noticed that our first um our first interview dropped some interesting and colourful language.
