For me, anyone who's telling you that Texas still has a shot at the playoff, I think that's wrong.
I think they're dead.
I think that is a team that should not be in the playoff.
I'm excited to see what happens with Oklahoma after the win this weekend, how they jump and how far Alabama falls.
Yeah, no, it was literally an entirely a defensive victory for Oklahoma.
That was it.
Their defense was just so good that they won.
Their offense can be pretty anemic.
It's very, very single-faceted.
They cannot score many points.
It's very Brent Venables of them, but hey, if you win, if your defense is that good, which their defense is that good, you're going to be competitive in everything.
I don't see them moving on.
I think they're a playoff team with that win.
I think that's a good enough win that's going to take you far.
And I think that if you look at their record, a loss to Texas and Red River, that doesn't count to me.
Red River is a weird, made-up vortex in the universe where whatever happens there just isn't real.
And then a loss to Ole Miss.
I think that they are a lock for the playoff right now.
I don't see them moving on beyond the first round, though, because their offense is so anemic.
It was just such a good defensive game for them that they were able to win.
