Basically saying, okay, well, the job of the leader of the UK is now going to be taken up with leaving the EU and I don't want to do that.
Yeah.
So then it was Theresa May.
Her job was basically make Brexit happen, start taking steps.
She took some steps, but it's not just as simple as like, okay, we're withdrawing.
It's not like cancelling a subscription.
Like there were a lot of deals that needed to happen.
Theresa May couldn't make those deals happen.
Through her time in office, she also called a general election quite early.
So the last one had been 2015.
She called one 2017.
In that election, the Conservative Party actually lost their majority.
Okay.
So that was a mark against her and then she couldn't get the Brexit deal happening.
So she stepped down.
Yeah.
Minority government now.
