Because I was always like um fifty fifty having kids or not and then I was pregnant.
And um fifty on the ha side of having no kids is because um I mean
I had before a kid, I always had a very perfect life.
I could do everything I wanted.
I could go on bike picking trips.
I basically, I mean, of course, you have friends or my partner I need to check with, but I always had a lot of um freedom to do whatever I want.
And um I was scared that I need to give this up um entirely for having kids.
And also I think like when you look, I think women are already quite a
minority in sports, but when you think about mothers
it's even more minority and there are not many mothers, particularly in ultra cycling.
I mean, there are maybe people with kids, but often the kids are older.
So there's definitely a lack of representation and I think that's kind of scary if you have the lifestyle and you um risk or you have the fear of giving that up.
Usually the athlete career for women it kind of ends um before you have kids.
But actually I think I think what is I mean, for me like birth was like a point in time I completely didn't know what happens afterwards.
I think this fear.
was also um because I didn't know what how much joy and how much positive feelings being a mum brings to me.
Because I did not expect at all um how much love it gives me, how much excitement when you come back and there's a baby laughing at you and and um also for ultra cycling I was worried that it's would be hard to come back.
Um
Yeah, physically.
But actually now for me it's hard to come back because I'm worried about not being with my kid for one week.
