I think, well, you know, there's so many things that books gave me.

And one, it was that belonging, but it was also because I had such a vivid imagination and because I love magic, I loved sci-fi, I loved fantasy.

That was my source for all of that.

They were my source for the validation of that within me because that was never validated.

That part of me, that nerdy, that magical, whimsical, soft part of me was never validated in the world.

So books were always a place that gave me that validation.

And when you were reading stories about wizards and dragons and

witches and all that kind of stuff, that was where that part of me got to come alive.

And it's such a big part of me.

It's such a big part of me.

So I would spend my days just getting through so that I could get to the book at the end of the day where that part of me would be able to come alive.

And it was always that.

And as you said, it just – and the other thing that it really gave me

was great role models, great behaviors, great values.

There are people in books that have shaped my life.

Characters in books have shaped my life.

And there are always characters in books where growing up, and this is probably unhealthy, but I was always like, I wish I could be them.

I don't want to be Luke Bateman.

I want to be this person.

I want to be this character.
