Um so it's a good message for 'em.
Uh a lot of these guys are in a hurry these days and want to debut round one of their first years.
So um
probably unfortunately for us at the moment at at the Tiges that w uh with the injuries and everything, the guys have got a crack in their in their first year, but um obviously that's not the norm for for most people.
So um yeah, really selling that story in terms of
working on their craft, working on their running patterns and getting the system down pat at the VFL level so that when you do go up, like I don't want to see him again is my ideal um situation.
But as I said, not not everyone gets those cards dealt to 'em.
But um yeah, I think everyone looks at my career and probably just expects that I played pretty early, but didn't realise that the heartache that I had to probably go through early early days.
No, absolutely not.
Development in though, can't it?
Oh for sure.
I was I was getting this like from Clark, I was getting the same messages every week, like defensive pressure wasn't good enough.
Um crumbing layers and playing system and making sure I'm in the right spot at certain times um just wasn't there.
So that's probably a bit of concentration, um, learning the game plan, learning the game style.
And then yeah, luckily for me I had
Uh I was three one year contracts, but at this probably the July of each year I sort of knew that I was okay for the next year, which allowed then that July, August into sort of finals.
Um that I wasn't I didn't have that anxiety when I was going to play.
It was more about okay, I know I'm here next year, I'm just gonna get to work in terms of what I need to build on my game and um and how I can get my role to a sustainable.
