But I will point to what he said when he was in Toronto before he left for the summer, and that is he pointed to the Boston Bruins bouncing back this season.
He made mention that the Tampa Bay Lightning, during their run of relevance, missed the playoffs one year and then came back and won Stanley Cups.
So I think he is hopeful.
that this can be a one-off and that they can bounce back and be relevant.
If they try to sell him on, this is going to be a long reset.
