We're going to take a step back.
I think that's where things could get a little dicey.
You know, you just have to imagine what he's been through.

Uh, so I think his number one priority is, is winning a Stanley cup.
He has a heart trophy.
He has a bunch of rockets like, uh, uh,
Team success, I think, is paramount in his mind, so he has to believe that the Leafs are on a course to win a championship.
I don't think it has anything to do with, oh, he doesn't like Canada or some of the other stuff you hear, or, oh, the market's too tough.
He can handle that.
I think he wants to win, and he's got a taste of it.
I'm sure he's seeing Mitch Marner thrive, score serious clinching goals, and be like, oh, okay.
You know, there are other options out there if I want to pursue them.
So it's going to be fascinating.
And the other thing is I don't think we're going to hear one way or another.
There's no deadline for him.
He's got two more years.
