And it's something that we keep on working on and extending.

Well, the vines that we have here, we've carefully selected our sites and everything, and we currently have about 132 hectares.

We're expanding it out to probably 160 hectares or so.

But our main focus, if you're looking at varietal-wise, because of our climatic conditions and where we're situated,

It's always been much more Bordeaux focused, if we want to put it like that, looking at the five Bordeaux red varietals and then Semillon, Sauvignon are our main white varietals.

But then we have, how can we put it, the impostors, if you want to put it, because we have got some chard coming in and we've got some Syrah and Grenache, which we use for making rosé as well.

No, the wind is brutal here.

I mean, there's a reason why another name for this area is called the Cape of Storms.

And the wind is really, I think it's particularly on the farm here.

I think it's born here.

i mean i grew up in cape town itself in near the constantia valley and i thought i knew what wind was until i moved onto this property it's it's really brutal but i mean it gives us a unique climate here and it has a interesting impact on the vineyards which i think gives us a lot of positivity coming through because

With that wind movement, we've got much lower humidities here.

We've got a reduced crop because of the wind, which gives us a little bit more concentration.

It keeps it a lot cooler for us.

So there are a lot of pros to the negative of the wind being very strong.

Yes, I'd say at the moment it is.

Although if we're looking at rain and things like that, what we're starting to see is the seasons are changing.

We're not necessarily getting four seasons in a year.

We tend to more get two seasons, if you want to put it like that.

And when the rain does come, it seems to come in shorter, sharper bursts.
