This is what I love about us revisiting the Jesus and his movements from this lens in the last almost five years now of our journey is realizing how intentional Christ's movements were. It's not random. When they go to Cesar of Philippi, when he takes them to the gates of hell and has a speech, that isn't like we're just gonna take a little 10 minute walk this way from Nazareth.
It is far, like wear out your sandals, walk. It was intentional. And that happens to be at the base of Mount Hermon, which is where, according to, where the angels ascended in Genesis 6. I think that just, it's like this 3D view of the gospel and realizing that Christ is undoing so much that the darkness has done. And his intentionality of his movements, locations, the things he does, he's playing 4D chess. Yeah.
a low bar but uh i think you you know should make an amendment because it's blurred at first but then it becomes clear well that's you know the name of our show is actually from it's a joke the whole thing is it's from a mitch hedberg joke where he basically says maybe it's i'll paraphrase it but he just talks about how all the pictures of bigfoot are blurry this is even more terrifying than it would be the idea there's actually a blurry creature running around like so
There's a lot of blurry creatures in the Bible. Is there? Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. A lot of crazy stuff in there.
Yeah. How many of these strange humans? How's that Bible reading plan going?
There's a lot of stories out of Afghanistan about giants. Of course, the Kandahar Giants, the famous one.
I see a lot of that stuff. There wasn't writing for a long time in human history. It was all oral tradition. You make a point. I think it was a little bit before we were going west. It wasn't the westward expansion of the United States.
We don't get anything done. You'll like this.
Yeah, I agree. I mean, we talk about it on the show a lot about the idea that, like, you have all these stories, right? And, Cy, you've given us a bunch of stories here. But, like, if even one of them is true, right, then you have to expand your paradigm. It busts your paradigm.
So whether it be, you know, a UFO experience or a Black Panther, as we've kind of gone over, you've got to make room for that, right? And I think you did a great job. I think we can quit the show now. You basically explained how good and evil work. You got it all figured out.
I think, yeah, the basis of our show, though, is we have a very supernatural faith. And in some ways, as 21st century Westerners and Americans, in a weird way, some of that very supernatural aspects of our faith have been divorced from Christianity. Yeah. Think about it. We have a virgin birth, a resurrected Christ. You've got giants and talking donkeys. That's what I was thinking. Angels and all.
I mean, think about all that. But a lot of times people don't have, especially now, like post-Enlightenment, the sort of academic era we live in.
they kind of put Christianity in this box and it's just like it's just Jesus and he did this which is great but it doesn't provide a lot of context when people have experiences like seeing a black panther or like seeing something that shouldn't be there or UFO what are you meant to think about that and then what we are proponents of is that Our faith is big enough.
There's a lot of weird stuff in the Bible, stuff you won't hear on Sundays because, unfortunately, a lot of the Western church is a business. So you're not going to get a sermon on aliens or Genesis 6. Pick your poison when it comes to the Bible, the weird stuff. You won't get a lot of that because a lot of pastors need butts in seats.
And I feel like for whatever reason, Nate and I stumbled sort of backwards into- It's good for our show, yeah. A space where you provide a platform for people to talk about it. No, no.

That's right. That's a much better rate than the government's going right now.
I think it's super interesting that there's, in some ways, there's a space now, right? Because I think people that have had weird experiences in general, there are a lot of folks in that camp that will be like, this disqualifies my faith. I can't find a place for this. So then my faith is sort of disqualified. Christianity doesn't fit for me because it can't explain these things. Yeah.
