who cares is the goal, you have to allow space for who cares to be the answer.
Otherwise, who cares would never be the goal.
Listen, I don't think there's anything wrong with citing data and polls and anecdotal stories based upon reporting to ask any question.
I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
What I'm saying is, is that if you haven't done that work, but you're in a position to ask that question, why are you asking that question?

So if you've done the work and you've earned the place to ask that question because you're invested in the answer, then sure.
But if you haven't done that work, but you're just doing it because it's salacious, then that's what I kind of bristle at.
