We should begin the conversation with the actual data, because if we did that, we would go, why are we obsessing over less than 50 trans athletes out of 30,000?

So we're not gonna do it off the math or off of the data.

We're gonna do it off the climate and the culture's temperature.

And LGBTQ plus equality, particularly trans care, transgender people in general, it's a really good mover for Republicans.

And they're going to try to enter into that conversation to engage with their base at every entry point possible.

We saw it with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

We saw it with Beer.

We saw it with Target.

We saw it with, you know, they're just going to try to engage to just provoke their base.

And so I see this as more of the same, that this conversation is really not starting from a what's actually happening.

in the best interest of student athletes as much as, you know, what's in the best athlete, what's in the best interest of elected officials who are hoping to gain favor or get reelected.

So that to me is where it starts.

Now, when it comes to the actual games themselves and the fairness of the games themselves, you know,

I know that the Olympic Committee has been talking about an open category where competitors of all genders can compete.

You know, I am intrigued by that conversation.

I know that marathons do that.

We have other athletic events that do that.

So that could be something I think worth exploring because I do think that when you're talking about transgender female athletes,

And depending upon when the athlete transitioned in terms of their hormone therapy, there can be some physiological differences that were benefited by testosterone.

And I don't think that it's unhealthy to have that kind of conversation if it's coming from a place of inclusion.
