Let's figure it out now, as opposed to saying we're going to kick or ban people because we know that doesn't work.

Thank you for saying that.

You know, Don, if I could just add one more thing about this conversation.

You know, when you, when you grow up male in this country,

You know, we are indoctrinated with a belief system about our athleticism that isn't always present for female athletes when they grow up.

And so beyond just the physiological conversation, you know, with this, there's also the, to me, the sports psychology aspect of it.

Whereas you don't normally have to tell boys, you know, you know, run faster, you could do it, blah, blah, blah, blah, because you see boys, right?

But in society, you know, women are conditioned to think of femininity in a different sort of way.

And that too is something that is a obstacle that when it comes to female athletes in particular, that I don't think men appreciate, you know, just how much willpower and strength and courage it takes to look at the world that says she should be playing with dolls and being pretty and decides, I'm going to be ugly and try to win this championship.

You know what I'm saying?

And I don't think there's a real appreciation of that.

So when it comes to just talking about sports in general, I look at the world that way.

And when I talk about what's considered fair in this conversation of trans athletes, I also consider that, you know, that, you know, for a lot of young female athletes, just being out in the field and trying is a huge accomplishment because women aren't encouraged to try like that.

Whereas for young men, that isn't the same.

And I don't think that goes away.

I don't even pay attention to it anymore.

And you know why?

Because I'm married to John D.,

Like, he's like one of those, like, we were watching Bad Boys, you know, the other day.

You know?
