CCC is basically a Barbados B team.
So losing them doesn't really mean anything.
The academy side, I think there is an argument that you could bring to say we should probably keep the academy.
in and around, in and around it to help some of those academy players who are obviously talented.
I think it's beneficial for the young academy players to experience a higher level, right?
And my concern, Santoki, by cutting CCC and cutting West Indies Academy is what happens now to some, it won't be all, but what happens to some of those academy players who no longer have a first-class system to play in
Is the plan to give them more academy games against other emerging players around the world?
If so, cool.
I've got no issue with it.
But what happens to those academy players that have technically graduated from the academy but none of the franchises pick them up?
Or are part of the academy, are talented, but now don't have seven first-class games a year or don't have seven Super 50 games because their franchise won't pick them up?
So...
