And the essential premise of Jerry Maguire and the film, there's lots of different subplots to it, but from the sports perspective, the essential premise of Jerry Maguire, the film, is that at the start of the film, Jerry Maguire is one of the top sports agents inside a massive
conglomerate sports agency, and he has some of the best clients in the NFL.
Eventually, he loses all of them.
I'm trying not to give away spoilers.
Eventually, he loses all the top clients, and the only client who's willing to stick with him is Cuba Gooding Jr.

And those two essentially go on a journey whereby Jerry Maguire learns to be a better human being and by proxy, a better sports agent.
Cuba Gooding Jr.
is a bit of an arsehole at the start of the film, but the two of them mesh together to understand that for Cuba Gooding Jr.
to get better and for Jerry Maguire to get better, they've both got to be sharing the same goal, but be good human beings at the core of it all.
That's a really basic synopsis of the film.
But I was thinking about it the other day and I was thinking, we need the agents who are working with our cricketers in the Caribbean to be like Jerry Maguire.
