Fast forward a year, I couldn't walk.

And found them, and they got me back to not only running, but playing at a high level.

And fast forward eight years, playing in another Super Bowl.

I think doing things that I never thought I would do.

The very first time they came out to Philly, they blindfolded me, carried me on top of their shoulders and started shaking me around across the neighborhood.

So I was like, what the hell are we doing?

This was stuff I would never do.

They showed up with no shoes on.

But at that point in my career, I said, well, it's retirement or do something new.

And took a risk and did all these things, and it allowed me to feel better and train harder and get back to where I knew I could be.

So they did a lot for me, not only physically, but mentally.

Yeah, and that's kind of what the whole carrying me on their shoulders was, like trusting us that we've got you, we'll keep you safe, we'll get you back to where you want to be.

And starting with that, as weird as it was, actually paid off a whole bunch.
