So the rationale there, yeah, exactly.

So some people call it that, and others call it the insurance hypothesis, and there's some kind of disagreements as to what exactly is going on there.

So it's interesting.

It's something that shows up with a lot of different study designs, which is pretty cool.

You can do the cross-cultural anthropological stuff and see like, oh yeah, among the South African Zulu, they're saying that up to, or in Jamaica or in St.

Kitts, they're saying that women who have

BMIs in the 30s are quite beautiful.

And then you go somewhere like really like affluent Singaporean women or something like that.

They have different preferences.

So, or Korea or someplace.

Then you see experimentally where when men are hungrier, they have a preference for larger women.

And the idea is that it's like, well, what is fat?

Yeah.

Fat is literally like a bank account filled with calories.

And so if you're in an environment where it's... And also we know that when women are acutely starving, they become infertile, right?

So it's not just like, oh...

This person knows where food is and will be able to feed me and offspring and do provisioning and stuff.

It's not just that.
