We own our awesome and we then...
slowly but surely become the leader that we're meant to be, the human being, and we're all leaders, by the way, the human being that will have the impact that we're meant to have because of our life experience and give back to other people.
So that's what I mean about owning your awesome, identifying what it is and leaning into it.
It's okay.
All our little quirks are what make us special today.
I think so, because, you know, I don't know the percentage of the population that are introverts.
And I think a lot depends on what industry sector you're in.
I did a little bit of work with some HR organizations.
And in the HR field, we did some research and we looked at about 60 percent of HR professionals were extroverts.
But that's still 40% that aren't.
And maybe in the life sciences, sort of, I don't know, it would be interesting to know, but it's probably about 50-50.
And of course, introversion and extroversion is on a scale.
We don't know, depends where you sit.
But there are advantages to both.
And we can borrow, I've learned to borrow extroverts' traits.
So people probably don't know I'm an introvert because I look like an extrovert when I'm in public.
I've got all those field skills and I've learnt that that's going to deplete my energy.
I'm going to love it and I'm going to be exhausted afterwards.
And so I'll need to have my time outside by the trees or reading a book with my feet on the sofa.
And if I don't do that, because there was a time when I had meetings or trainings back to back, I didn't realize that I needed that to recharge.
