Well, I will just interject here and say I interviewed Fiona a few years back when she did Hot Stew and she did confirm she does actually have a kind of serial killer wall.
Yeah.
It sounds like, I haven't read the new one, but it sounds like it's a bit of a departure in the sense that her two previous novels are very much concerned with landscape and the way that land flows through us and like the levels of story that are in place.
And it sounds to me like with this new book, she's doing that, but she's looking more at how kind of memory is the through line through all of our minds that connects us.
I mean, in Hot Stew, she's very much concerned with
gentrification and evil landlords and the kind of bureaucratisation of, like, housing estates in London, in Soho specifically.
