it resonates with me too 'cause I feel like I think the same thing, but it's because he's going up there hacking and and y you know you're gonna get a quality at bat from him and he might swing at eleven pitches and ten of them might be outside of the zone, but if he can get a hold of one of them, that's exactly what you want.

Yeah, the um uh in the pregame show too, uh, you know, I love my heat maps and I had kind of compared the Yankees start in his sinker location to the start that he had against Seattle.

And in uh against the Yankees, um, a lot of the red on the heat map, which is where the pitches are more uh

frequently located, uh, were more middle middle um and kind of up in the zone.

And when you look at the Seattle start, the red was lighting up all on the bottom of the strike zone, which is exactly where he wants to be able to locate those sinkers.

I looked at the heat map again for yesterday's start because he still had the same amount of horizontal movement on that pitch, which is insane to me, 15 inches of horizontal break on that sinker, which is

Yeah, so think about that

Uh yeah, that that pitch is is moving a ton.

Um but the heat map it was actually it was located um a lot of it was red low and inside to right handed batters, low and away to left handed batters.

So that's that's pretty much the spot that you wanna be in.

But he also missed on the arm side uh

location, I guess, of the strike zone.
