I mean, hands down, you've got to win the series.

But I did feel like there were a couple of swings yesterday from Ernie that

Yeah, and maybe the easy answer that's coming to mind right now is a bit more of the swing decisions.

But one of the things that I had mentioned about game, I guess what was it, game three of the Baltimore series where he put together all those hits was how –

His swings every at bat looked a little bit different and meant that in the best way possible because when you're getting sweepers one at bat and you're getting forcing fastballs the next at bat and then you see a splitter the next at bat, you have to be able to adjust whether it's barrel angle, your timing, a little bit of everything.

And I thought that he was able to do that.

Now, when you get into those two strike situations to the home run that he hit was on a two strike sweeper.

And one of the other hits that he had in that last game was in a two strike situation, too.

I felt like the swings leading up to that two strike result were also good, like looked like he was swinging at the pitches that he wanted to in certain counts.

Sometimes it's a round ball and a round bat.

You're just going to miss it.

You're going to foul it off.

but like kind of looking at the timing of some of those swings.

And like we mentioned earlier, that sinker that was in on the hands.

Now, if he had gotten barrel out in front and pulled that one, even fouled down the left field line, you're thinking, okay, that's a pitch that he was looking for, a location that he was looking for, just got a little bit too far out in front of it.

I'd almost, and maybe this is just me, I'd almost rather on pitches that are inside, I'd almost rather err on being too far out in front on those pitches rather than being late, because that's where you're going to get jammed up and you're not going to be able to barrel it up.

The difference that I saw, I know Joe Siddle did a great breakdown during one of the games recently about kind of him being out on that front foot and how that changes the swing mechanically.
