It's very noticeable.

And also the White House has taken control of the pool.
So it's not what the system used to be, which is that it was self-run by the White House Correspondents Association.
They pick the outlets.
They have diluted the pool so that they can try to...
have fewer mainstream journalists in there.
Jonathan and I are both all for, you know, independent outlets being able to have access, but that, while the White House says that's what they're doing, that isn't quite the motive.
It's about making sure that there is a, you know, negation, a negating factor there.
There are a few people who consistently try to ask him rigorous questions.
And again, the TV pool tends to be more consistent, but they have no backup.
So it used to be that you would ask something and...
the other reporter would ask something and people would have conversations beforehand about sort of what was on their minds.
It's just fundamentally different now.
