I think I think the the videos that I've had that have performed exceptional on all three platforms have always had very, very strong visuals.
Um this is something that I didn't realize for a long time, but
People scroll short form.
I think eighty-five percent of views on short form, so YouTube Shorts, Instagram, Reels, and TikTok are on mute.
Meaning it doesn't matter what you're saying, it doesn't matter what you're talking about.
It's fully just about visuals for them.
And so having captions is a must, having like on screen text explaining the video is a must, and having a very strong visual hook about the game is also a must.
It's it's it's not good to, you know, get into the meat of it later on.
People tell you this all the time with trailers, right?
If you spend first 10 seconds showing logos, people are gonna skip away.
And it's the same thing with short form as well, is you need to front load with very interesting but clear visual, I guess, you know, something interesting visually.
Otherwise, people aren't gonna know what they're they're looking at and scroll away.
Um, especially if they're watching on mute.
So on on TikTok and Instagram and I think a little bit of YouTube as well, you actually can't put links, you can't put links in the description, you can't put links in the comments.
It'll just paste as plain text.
And so there's not a single person in their right mind copying and pasting that link, going onto Google and clicking it.
Uh as well as, sure, I could put the link in my bio, but those are are not as useful either, where people aren't wish listing a game through someone's link in bio.
The usual behavior is the
Still, you know, watch the video, they'll see a couple of times that the same game ends up on their for you page, and then they'll have to go on their PC later and and wish list it.
The reason being, these platforms are intentionally trying to keep you on, right?
