It probably explains why the the conversion on a single video is is can be super low.
It can be very, very low, which is why what you need is volume.
You need people to see the video and see your game over and over and over until they're like, oh, you know what, fine, I'll go check it out.
It's not enough to just post one viral video.
I actually tell studios all the time, I would rather that they get 10 videos that get 100k views each than one video that gets a million views simply because of the way that consumers are behaving on these platforms.
I mean I mean these algorithms are so like scary at this point where discovery has totally been democratized.
Um you don't need a shit ton of followers to be able to have a video that's getting pushed out.
You make a good video about your game and it's going to be pushed out by the algorithm.
And at that point, you just need more videos like that because
You know, if I'm scrolling and I see a viral video about your game, I might like it, favorite it, comment, whatever.
And if I keep scrolling and never see your game again, I'm never converting, right?
It doesn't matter if I see it a month later.
Or even a week later, I'm probably not gonna convert.
But if there's a ton of content that exists out there for your game and I've liked this one particular video or I've engaged with this particular video, all of a sudden I'm telling the algorithm, yeah, I need to see more of this.
And if that constant exists, it'll end up on my for you page naturally.
And so after the fifth, sixth, seventh time, you know, that that's all it takes.
Yeah, it's terrifying, but you can lean on it a little bit.
