Like we went there because we were genuinely interested in their game and checking out their booth.
They asked us what we were doing.
We we mentioned how, you know, we were focused on TikTok.
And that was a huge area of interest for them, which at the time was actually pretty rare.
A lot of people disregard TikTok because they felt either, oh, you know, I feel like I don't really get it.
So it's not really a there's not really much of a point of it, or the audience is younger.
So it doesn't really matter.
It's not really converting as highly.
So it doesn't really matter.
Um, but they were so there were one team that was very interested in short form.
So I think they were just willing to hear us out, hear about a bunch of kids uh posting on short form, you know?
I mean, I mean you'd be you'd be surprised.
A lot of people don't see it that way.
I think there is a lot of ageism in in this industry.
And it's typical for for new grads to, you know, the only way that they can kind of break into the industry is they work as a QA grunt for a couple of years and then pray that they make it as a developer or they get laid off before they ever can.
Um, internship roles are are far and few, especially where I'm from.
And so it felt like my only option was to make my own path.
Right.
If I wanted to make into the game industry, I didn't want to just have to, you know, conform to what everyone else was was forcing me to do.
