In most states, there's more regulations on nail salons than there are on programs that lock up teenagers.
Oh, my God.
The fact that we still don't have federal regulation on this is absolutely nuts because parents assume that if something is advertising all over the place and claiming we can treat your kids ADHD and we can treat your kids depression, that there's some basis for that claim.
And what's important to note here is that a lot of parents, they get very desperate because we have no mental health care system in the United States.
Even legitimate mental health care is often...
Too expensive, inaccessible, non-existent.
So parents hear about these things and they're like, well, I'm at my wit's end.
I may as well try this.
Right.
And so they're like, OK, I'll do the wilderness thing in the summer and my kid can go back to school and they'll be fixed and they'll be fine.
The same places that own the wilderness programs own the other places.
facilities, the residential facilities, or they have kickbacks from them, they automatically, you know, at the end of three months or whatever it is, oh, your kid needs more treatment, no matter what, like your kid could have done perfect.
And it's still they want the money.
This is the best place for your kid.
Oh, it's the one that gives us the most money or it's the one we own.
There's no regulation on this.
There are these educational consultants that, you know, send kids to these places.
And again, no regulation.
Many of them take kickbacks.
So they take money from the parents.
