We became friends.
It was long distance.
He was based in Pakistan.
But we got to know each other over the years.
He would visit in the summer and we would go for dinner and just like spend some time together.
And I was like, there is that connection there.
Like I am happier when I'm in his company.
And I, you know, and we love so many things, you know, together.
We love sports.
And he's just like so cool.
But I was also scared of marriage.
Because I had seen growing up how girls have lost their future because they were forced into marriage.
So it just could not like come to an agreement between these two things.
Like, you know, like I want to live with this guy.
That's something like I want.
I can't imagine my life without him.
But then I was like growing up, like, you know, I said that I will never get married.
Cause I was like, I hate marriage and everything.
And like, it's just always more compromises and it's less, you know, like the opportunities get limited for women.
So then eventually I came to this agreement that, yes, like, you know, he is an exceptional person.
