It was just me saying out loud what was on my mind.
And then when that interview came out, it was a brilliant interview, but some people just highlighted those lines and they started this whole debate that I am against marriage, I am against Islamic marriage, I'm against nikah, all of these traditions and the culture and everything.
And I'm like, I never said that.
I literally never said that.
I'm just asking a question.
And any 23-year-old should be allowed to ask these questions about anything in life, marriage, boyfriends, relationships.
And then six months later, I got married, so they got their answer.
No, not at all.
And I want to share this story because I wish somebody had told me that this is something that could have happened.
Yes, that this was a thing.
