Brent, I just want to thank you for your leadership.
I also want to thank the members of the MPTA who are here for their leadership as well.
I'm a political junkie, so I do watch some of your meetings.
I get a good feeling of what you guys are doing and where you are in the process.
I just really want to thank you for leaning in on public transportation for us.
Brent, I'm going to underscore safety.
Obviously the conversation we just had, unfortunately bad things happen to good people, and they happen on public transportation.
And so hopefully we begin to double down on the investment that you guys are making on public safety on the bus, on the train, at the stations, and at the shelters.
So I want to underscore that.
I also want to underscore and get just a little bit more clarification.
I think 100 bus shelters should be the absolute floor.
I think we should have the capability to do more than 100.
I'm going to challenge you and you've basically said it yourself that you should be able to do 100 plus or more.
I'm going to focus on the or more and help me understand that all bus shelters will have same standards, like a basic car, and others are going to have more features based on location.

Well, just Malcolm, I think they all should have benches and shelters.
I'm just saying, right?
It rains on two people the same way it rains on 100, right?
And so hopefully, Minister Mack, you would hear that and that no matter it's in ridership of two or ridership of 100, ridership that starts on Batesford Road or ends in Ballantyne, the standard should be the same throughout the system.
