Why don't we pass the area plans?

I'm ready to do that tonight.

We should.

But also we make smart decisions, as Ms.

Johnson has indicated.

We have to make tough decisions.

Some of these decisions are to approve, and some of them is to say no, like we did earlier today, tonight.

This is one I hope that we can continue to work together.

I think we're at an impasse, really, because we've been working for four months now, right?

And the neighborhood leaders have very, very serious concerns that I tend to agree with.

I clearly understand that you can't do anything with Mount Holly Huntersville Road.

The land is where it's at.

But certainly the congestion over that road, it's what it is, right?

And so, as I told the neighbors before, we're going to have to pick winners and losers.

I mean, you may come here tonight saying no, and I vote yes.

You may come back and vote no, right?

So we're going to have to pick winners and losers for sure.

This one is problematic for me.

And so...

I hope that there's some additional conversation you can have with the neighborhood leaders in reference to what more can you do to help them get to a point where they say, Malcolm, I'm okay with this.
