So the book has eight chapters.
Um basically the first chapter goes in and talks about Shankara and Arubindo and I'll ask you maybe to unpack a little bit more about um especially Arabundo, who he is.
And then
And then the subsequent chapters take the verses of the Isha Upanishad in turn, including your translation of both the Upanishad and Shankara's commentary thereon, as well as then you append at the end of those eight chapters that take us up through verse 18.
You also append some sections of material from the book of Gita and from Shankara's.
Prahmasutrabasha, his commentary.
Um, so that's what the the book looks like.
And I thought maybe instead of trying to go sort of verse by verse, I would ask you if you were to say there is a core to this Upanishad, um, a core to this book, where would you start in terms of trying to unpack?
Because there it's it's a dense book.
There's a
lot of interwoven ideas.
Um, is there a piece of it that you think really gets at the heart of what's going on or illuminates really well how you see the relationship between Shankara and Arubindo?
Yeah, you at some points in the book, I think you talk about a theistic monism, the uh in in this context.
And so the idea is that what Brahman is uh in the sort of material cause of the world.
He he is the world.
Um but at the same same sense there's this this problem that so getting into sort of chapter five and the the Isha uh verse verse eight, there's this problem of
Causation here.
Um, because we have what at least it seems to be, uh, and on your interpretation, Shankara is accepting the reality of like empirical reality is not an illusion.
There is some sort of world in some sense.
Uh and how how do we get this related causally to Brahman?
