In in in the field of philosophy, uh to to generalize, I think, you know, doing a a translation is not going to earn you a a lot of uh credit, right?
I did one for my dissertation, um and I'm I managed to do okay so far in my career, but I think you wouldn't necessarily advise someone to say, Hey, do a translation and think that that's going to to get you
um sort of have you be perceived philosophically.
But it seems to me like some of what you're saying is well, in in not just reading the text, but also in translating it, rendering it for an audience, you have to do some philosophical work.
You have to to understand um the semantic range of these terms, how they're deployed in argumentative context.
So I was just curious about that aspect of it.

This book is came out in January, so presumably you're on other topics or projects.
Yeah,
in graduate school.
That's what started me off on my Ankara kick.
I don't know if you remember that.
Yeah, yeah years ago.
So we've I'll I'll have to dig out my notes.
We'll talk about that after the interview.
But yes, okay we'll be looking forward to to hearing uh how that project goes and maybe talking with you uh in the future.
