And so maybe since you're talking about inclusivity and boundaries, I can pick up on a little bit of the question that you were hinting at earlier, which is what is philosophy, right?
And there's a sense in which it would be tedious if everyone who writes a book or puts together a collection of papers on philosophy had to go back to foundations and define what philosophy is.
Maybe since we've been talking a little bit about interdisciplinarity or enlarging the conception of philosophy, maybe you could speak a little bit to that question in terms of are you thinking about boundaries in the sense of are there things that for you clearly are not philosophy and things that clearly are?
Are there fuzzy boundaries?
How do you think about that when you're trying to put together a book like this?
What are the sorts of things that gets in?
And are there sorts of things that you would say, no, but that actually is not philosophy?
How are you thinking about those kinds of categories?

Throughout our conversation, you've been talking about indigeneity and indigenous religions, in particular Filipinos, Indonesians.
And I just wanted to come back to that and ask you to elaborate a little bit on what indigenous means in this context, and maybe also to invite you to say a little bit about this category of religion.
in relationship to how maybe, again, thinking a little bit about boundaries here, about how Indigenous peoples conceptualize what others might call religion, right?
So this category of religion, some would argue this is a historically situated kind of concept that's coming in.

And then, of course, the messy intersection that happens in Southeast Asia vis-a-vis colonialism?
