And the way I think and my mannerisms and also my friendliness, I would say, is Australian as well.

And then, um, and then as like the economy rose, like a lot of Japanese came back here and that's basically what my family did as well.

And so I've been here my whole adult life.

So starting from university onwards, I was like here, except for, um, I did my masters in, in New York and then, yeah.

I did, actually.

So I was staying at my grandma's house for every summer holiday, which is like six weeks or two months.

I would just come back to my grandma's house.

So I always had the link with Japanese culture.

And then as I was kind of getting into my teenage years and stuff,

Um, I started to appreciate him, but like, at first I was like, why do I have to be here?

And then, um, it was just, my parents wanted me to have two cultures.

Um, and then, um, and then, so I was kind of engaged in like traditional culture, like Aikido and stuff like that.

But then, um, as I went into my teenage years, I started discovering pop culture and fashion and then, and stuff like sneakers and like street culture.

And I was like, actually, Japan's really cool.

Like, yeah, yeah.

So, um, start to appreciate, enjoy Japan more.

So.

Um, no, I identified as Australian when I was in Australia.

And then now that I'm in Japan, I kind of identify as Japanese more.

Um, but I do recognize that my personality is probably more Australian and, um, but like, I mean, Japanese people like, um, in Japan, they often don't appreciate their own culture.
