So I just, like, I'm putting down, like, just as, as, as a record.

So, um, like, um, my agenda is to, like, create a beautiful book.
Um, and my agenda is to showcase artisans who I think are culturally interesting and relevant, and also that tattoo work is a really high standard.
Um, but aside from that, it's not like I'm trying to say, oh no, like tattoos are like this now, or like we should do this or, you know, like it's, it's like, I think that kind of, um, wolf, like the conclusions people can draw can be based from like the actual facts.
So I think a lot of like, um, people, when they write tattoo articles, like it's like, um, the basic agenda is like, and I've written stories like this is like, you know, the yakuza aren't getting tattooed anymore.
Like we should make, you know, um,
we should reduce the prejudice against tattooed people.
And yeah, I've written stories like that as well.
But for this particular book, I just wanted to state what was happening and kind of preserve this quality of work.
Yeah, and also like, you know, when I go to Jinbocho, like the book district in Tokyo, and so for people who haven't been there, it's another place I recommend.
It's like the world's biggest book district.
There's like 10 million books in the collective inventory.
And so I'm looking at books from the Edo period and like seeing how the commoners lived and stuff.
And so when I'm making this kind of book, I'm imagining people like in, you know, like 100 years from now, like going, oh, this is how like people, you know,
Yeah, really.
And one of the impetuses for making this book was the guy on the cover.
And so I kind of felt like, oh, well, it's going in the social media kind of direction, and it's kind of like a lost cause kind of thing.
It's just gone on a different thing altogether.
