But then when I saw this work, it was, like, by Horikozu on one of his clients.
He's, like, a jiu-jitsu champion.
And he was coming in three times a week.
And it was, like, the density of the work, like, the power.
Like, it was actually, even though I've seen hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of tattoos, like,
Like, just the amount of energy coming out of this tattoo is just, like, I've never, I haven't really felt that kind of, like, overwhelming and also breathtaking kind of, like,
power from a singular like work since I was a teenager and saw Haritoka's work.
So it was just like, um, and I felt like that kind of like mystique and, um, the appeal of Japanese tattoos in, in this kind of work.
And I was like, okay, so, um, and it really motivated me to just put this, yeah, put this on record.
A couple of years and also, but he's quite unusual because he was coming three times a week.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like you go from like a tattoo session and then we shot him at the Jiu-Jitsu gym, like the dojo.
And I was like, you just got tattooed.
I don't think they're really following recommended guidelines.
But yeah, but he's unusual.
And also with Horikosa in particular, his work is so, so, so, so detailed.
It's crazy, crazy levels of meticulousness.
And again, it's this sense of icky.
It's just being so hyper, hyper, hyper-embellished in places that no one's ever going to see.
So, um, so most people don't do it this dense and also like at the moment it's quite popular just to have like, um, like huge, like gradations, like, like, like it kind of looks like a coverup almost like just like huge areas of black.
