The feud was tied to Miley's interview comments criticizing Nicki's reaction to being shut out of the Video of the Year nominations.
But Miley responded saying interviews can be manipulated and congratulating Nicki on the award she had just won.
The whole thing happened live in front of a huge audience and apparently producers cut Nicki's mic as she tried to keep talking.
Talk about drama.
Now to a story that involves one of my favorite movies of all time, La La Land, and the infamous best picture mix up with Moonlight at the 2017 Oscars.
Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were presenting, and when Warren opened the envelope, he hesitated because he had been handed the wrong card.
Faye ended up reading out La La Land as the winner,
And the team actually came up and started their acceptance speeches before the error was corrected.
It was so incredibly awkward.
A true live TV disaster, and it's remembered as one of the biggest award show blunders in history.
Now, speaking of mix-ups, this next one isn't technically an awards show moment, but captures the same spirit of that chaotic mix-up, and that is when, in 2015, Steve Harvey broke the internet by announcing the wrong winner of Miss Universe.
He read out the results, crowning Ariadna Gutierrez of Colombia as the winner, but later came back on stage and apologised for reading it wrong, clarifying that the actual winner was Pia Alonso-Werkbach from the Philippines, a moment that spawned many a meme.
Now, still to come, we have arguably the most controversial awards show moment of all time, a fashion moment on the red carpet that basically broke the internet, and the kiss that stole the show.
