I can say for sure that the craft was dark colored, oval in shape, and made no sound whatsoever.

So that's they're seeing some really seriously sized UFO coming up out of the water here.

This incident took place eighty miles southeast of New Orleans, suspiciously close to the location of the twenty ten BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
Are these two events related?
Could the oil spill have been caused by alien visitors in an attempt to wean our fledgling civilization off the perilously dirty fossil fuels on which our modern economy depends?
