Well, I think to me the big question that I'm watching for is we have two competing forces in this midterm. matched

One of them are all the organic factors that should uh favor демократ. matched

Enthusiasm, turnout. matched

The incumbent president is very unpopular. matched

Majorities of voters disagree with him on almost everything. matched

Iran, AI, tariffs, data centers, flock cameras. matched

Um so that's that should be creating a blue wave. matched

In the past that's what we would say. matched

But on the other hand, there's all these other forces. matched

They're structural and they favor the Republicans. matched

Money. matched

Republicans are finally beginning to spend the hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars that they have, much more than Democrats. matched

Uh they are benefiting from partisan gerrymandering. matched

They created a lot more safe Republican seats. matched

There's also all this confusion about mail in voting that could decrease some votes and help Republicans. matched

Which of these forces are going to be more powerful? matched

That's what I'm watching for. matched

I think it means that one of the things that Trump was counting on to help his party win, even though as I said he took all these matched

positions on policies that are not popular was that he was going to be able to have more control over the actual mechanics of voting. matched
