You just have to, you know, most advisors either have a degree or a degree equivalent.
And so that's important.
I actually personally, and not being biased, but I do think whether you're part of the AF, the advisors part of the AFA or the FPA, the two big bodies,
is important because I know they've got an association backing them.
And the third thing is tell me about your type of clients.
Because you will find advisors who specialize in pre-retirees.
There'll be ones who specialize in millennials or people who are accumulators.
And you will know exactly from your own situation what you want this advisor for.
So it's really important to make sure that what that advisor specializes in.
And a lot of advisors are special.
They don't sort of, you know, I would...
if I'm looking after pre-retirees, cause this is roughly my age, I really wouldn't be looking after, I wouldn't be going looking after millennials.
They just, they look at me and just, just wouldn't fit.

I understand totally what you're doing.
