To me, that's never worked out.
It's because usually in reality, you get that higher salary,
so does your lifestyle expenses.
You want to enjoy life.
And I understand that too.
So I've seen people who are on 50,000 a year into their 50s and 60s and have five properties.
I've seen people who are on a million dollars a year and a mortgage up to their hilt and really just one interest rate hike and they can lose everything.
So it's not so much the money, it's more what you do with it that's really important.
Okay.
I think there are a few questions, but for me, if it's a really good advisor, they'll be asking you the questions.
Because I think it works both ways.
You want to make sure you're a good fit with that financial advisor, but I think the other way around, a financial advisor will want to feel like I can actually help you as well.
He shouldn't just take you on as a client just because you're knocked on the door.
I think
So I think it does work both ways, but I think, and they should be wanting to ask questions to actually, what are your goals?
Not just, you know, what's your super, what's your cash balance?
What are your actual goals?
What are you,
and then they can look at how they can help you.
But if I was asking a meeting for the first time, I absolutely, I don't want to know their credentials.
