It's different.
Like if you were paying a fee for your superannuation, that's fine.
But if you're having a commission, the last thing you want to do is if you're having to claim on your life insurance or your family's got a claim that you say, oh, you've got to pay me a fee for that.
No, that's what commission is there for, to help you in those.
So it's a bit different as a product, but from definitely investment shares, super, you should be paying a fee and you should be signing off on that basically every year.

First of all, people don't talk about it.
That's the problem.
We're Australians.
We have probably a lot of English background.
And so the English don't talk about money.
Whereas if you came from America, they would just talk about it openly.
What's your salary?
How much you're worth?
What are you doing with it?
And it's really sometimes for Australians, it's very confronting if you're in America and they're around a dinner table and they're asking you all these money questions.
We just don't talk about it.
So it is something I really want people to talk about.
But yeah, not in a bad way, but it's just we do need to be far more positive about money.
And I think when I ever talk to my clients and say they were pre-retirees, 50s and 60s in the main, and I may ask them, what are your three goals?
