um directs the department of justice to go after uh election officials that that allow uh people to vote who they believe shouldn't and and we all know that you know this is not an independent justice department so so you know this is this is not exactly a voluntary uh uh program right there's a lot of coercion on the back on the back end of this and it can't go without without noted that this database is riddled with errors.
I mean the the state
Nevada was originally flagged with having nearly 16,000 non-citizens, according to um uh DHS.
Yeah.
That was then whittled down to 185.
The correct number, by the way, Jen, was zero.
Z-E-R-O.
That's the number that ultimately were not eligible.
And so what's going to happen here is that the the states are gonna be coursed to use this in a very tight time frame.
You're gonna have counties with election deniers who are gonna embrace it, you'll have others who try to resist it.
but get enormous pressure.
This is going to be a tool of voter suppression, but we have to be, you know, we have to play the ball as a lie.
And that means we are, we are going to be prepared to defend voters.
We're going to be prepared to defend defend um uh uh uh uh localities and we're gonna be prepared to make sure that every eligible ballot counts.
Yeah, so so three things.
