As you've seen today, two more ships were seized.
And we feel very positive that not only will that generate revenue that will be used to the benefit of the Venezuelan people, and we're ensured that that's what the case is, but it also gives us an amount of leverage and influence and control over how this process is done.
They want to be sure that the revenue that comes from the country eventually goes back into Venezuela but also goes to support whatever costs the U.S.
may have incurred.
We are going to take between 30 and 50 million barrels of oil.
We're going to sell it in the marketplace at market rates, not at the discounts Venezuela was getting.
That money will then be handled in such a way that we will control how it is dispersed in a way that benefits the Venezuelan people, not corruption, not the regime.
So we have a lot of leverage to move on the stabilization front.
I mean, we are at war against drug trafficking organizations.
We are enforcing American laws with regards to oil sanctions.
We seize those boats with oil, and that will continue.
And we will continue to reserve the right to take strikes against drug boats that are bringing drugs towards the United States that are being operated by transnational criminal organizations, including the Cartel de los Soles.
Of course, their leader, the leader of that cartel, is now in U.S.
justice in the Southern District of New York, and that's Nicolas Maduro.
