I was a big history buff.

And I thought this is how you do it.
And it's very intoxicating, particularly as a young person, you know, when you're on a campaign and you're in the throes of that and you're surrounded by, you know, I think what is adjacent power or is power and attention, you know,
And I think for me, if I had being on those races and being exposed to different principles over time helped me determine who I am, you know, what do I actually believe in?
Because I certainly went in very specifically as a party operative.
in some ways, you know, I didn't know better.
There's like two parties, you pick one and that's what you do.
And I think being able to sort of see over time, right, different individuals for who they are, because I think that's a piece that I kind of, I came to a place where I could determine what,
you know, the lines were for me.
And I think the interesting thing, you know, even getting to the point of you raising, you know, Governor Cuomo, you know, I went into work for him, you know, at a time where Trump had become president.
