Right.

So Anthropic was valued at $380 billion recently.

This is a $200 million contract.

And so the contract itself is not a make or break moment for Anthropic.

But one of the punishments that the Pentagon is threatening here is labeling Anthropic a supply chain risk.

And so earlier this week, we reported on how the Pentagon has started the process of essentially blacklisting Anthropic by reaching out to Boeing.

and reaching out to Lockheed Martin to have them assess what their relationship with Anthropic is.

Designating them a supply chain risk would mean that any company that does business with the Pentagon would have to certify they're no longer doing business with Anthropic.

And that would be a big blow for the company as a leading enterprise software provider.

There's XAI, which already has a contract with the Pentagon for its model to be used in classified settings.

There is Google and there's OpenAI, and both are accelerating talks right now with the Pentagon.

Yeah, essentially plugged in.

They're also using this technology themselves and learning what works and what doesn't.

But it's not just how the technology is going to be plugged in.

It's also governance structures.

You know, which specific workflows is this going to work the best for and what should the rules and policies around it be to avoid liability issues and make sure that, you know, the company is being compliant and risk averse.
