As we support it and many others across the country support the bill, it helps to connect the federal research investments to real world talents or workforce needs and it recognizes that industry has to be at the table when education and training programs are being designed.

I hope this legislation really recognizes well it does recognize workforce as a strategic issue, not just education.

And um there's a great

story I mean for it.

I mean, this industry, highest paying industry, um uh is one of the fa it's most usu usually fastest growing, if not the fastest growing industry in a state.

And these are wonderful jobs that are also meaningful.

They're helping bring

um therapies to patients.

So it's very no, with all due respect to other industries, you are helping people.

Um so uh we will, you know, continue to support the congressman's legislation and other efforts around workforce and talent.

And um hopefully we'll see more more workforce and talent being prioritized uh with uh with future bills as well.

Uh we want industry there.

So the Georgia Life Sciences Summit takes place and yes, it's a selfish plug.

Um takes place in August and August uh twenty sixth is the main conference day with the reception on the twenty fifth.

Um it's a great opportunity to connect with Georgia innovators.

Um we do have a lot of out of state visitors as well.

We're very grateful to our partnership with um you all uh for uh uh

bringing in a a investors to talk about what they are looking for um in this particular life science landscape where um

uh we're in and it i it it's a testament to this conversation today because I think we're gonna be tying in policy

Into how we even pitch, because it is all these things that are happening on the Hill are also impacting how investors are making decisions, which therefore are going to invest how companies need to talk about and tell their story to funders.
