The broad uncertainty that we have right now around China can slow partnerships, uh, capital formation, and the ability for emerging companies to globally compete.
The reality is these small companies cannot innovate and scale in our market uh due to cost or whatever it might be, uh labor, and um they need to look elsewhere.
And and China has made biotechnology a um
a national priority.
They were already moving as the NSCEB pointed out at a clip uh a year ago when their report came out.
And then we just had an update.
A lot of the affiliates did partners did a week or two a couple weeks ago with NSCEB.
And we're seeing even more
uh th they're doubling down on biotech.
So um the goal should be here to protect the US leadership but still allow an innovation ecosystem to function.
And as we saw last spring and early summer, we saw a lot of that shut down.
And I had small companies saying I
can't my my trial's taking place or I have to get this b this piece of the supply chain that comes out of China.
