immunotherapy he was reluctant to do it but the same immunotherapy that he'd been receiving in london it was a diff yeah a different version of a very similar thing a different type of medication but it was immunotherapy as well right and he was having to pay for that every time again paying privately and thank god for the people who had donated you know that's how we were able to do that and that doctor agreed that it was going to just prolong his life and

So James's plan was to just have his life as long as possible.

But in the meantime, be looking at alternatives.

All the time.

He never gave up hope.

And he was thinking, right, you're saying that and that's fine.

But I'll keep going.

I'm going to keep going.

Yeah.

So he was planning then to have radiotherapy because he had a little bit of cancer in his neck that he was it was starting to get in on his windpipe.

He was getting a bit uncomfortable with it.

So we had radiotherapy in September and it really helped.

It helped with that.

It shrunk it a lot.

So we just kind of carried on and he was getting his immunotherapy and it was okay.

A scan in January then showed that it was stable.

So we thought, great, you know, it's working and stable is all that you can hope for at that time.
